No! We can ship you almost anything out of Japan - permitting it's available, logistically viable and meets the T&C's of container shipping and our warehouse in Japan. If you're interested in something in particular, head over to our contact us page to enquire today.

That's not a problem! We deal with outside purchases regularly and all we need is proof of purchase from you. All purchases that are not through Outsiders Auto do incur an additional 5% handling fee.

Yes. We have full access to all auction houses in Japan. When looking to buy a car please let us know the car and spec you're after so we can help you with your search.

Yes! We offer a car importing service that requires a deposit for us to start hunting for your next car. It's important to know the price of cars from Japan fluctuates and the currency conversion can have an effect on this too. Because of this, the price we give you today might not be the same as in 6 months time. We recommend you start your car search with us when you're in a position to buy.

Yes we're able to request inspections or vehicle reports. These are an additional fee which is dependant on location and seller.

We currently offer Klarna through our website.

Outsiders Auto will purchase or bid on the parts you would like to buy. Payment or deposit on bids is required before we purchase the item for you. If the part sells before you have paid, we can secure you another part or, return your money. Failure to make payment = non purchase

Yes we do! All items are bids in Japan require a deposit. Please head over to the import page to enquire.

Invoices are sent for all items and bank transfers are required. We can send over payment links for credit card payments. All fees incurred by non bank to bank payments are the buyers responsibility.

Of course. We ask that it is appointment only, so get in touch if you'd like to visit. Don't forget we have car and coffee meets, so check out our event page for our upcoming meets

Yes it is. We've been importing since 2019 and neither us, or any customers have been scammed by a Japanese seller. We appreciate it can feel daunting buying expensive items blind. If you have any other questions, please get in touch.

Delivery to your home address is not included in the price of our import service. Delivery can be arranged at the buyers cost. For large and fragile items we recommend collection of items.

Yes we do. For international sales we use FedEx or Royal Mail tracked & insured services. If you can't see the destination on our shipping options, please get in touch for an accurate quote.

Yes. All items in the container are insured.

No we can't, it's a legal requirement for items to be declared and all tax and duty must be paid before containers are released from the port authority.
